That was short lived as Nate Schivelbein scored with about two minutes left in the game to secure all points for the Beavers. Ben Duford manned the net in this contest.
Beavercreek’s second game of the day was an 8-0 victory against the Sycamore Aviators. Team Captain Greg Gutterman got a hat trick and then some with four goals (two in the first and two in the second). The second period saw Creek pepper the net with five goals. In addition to the two from Cole, Thomas Bush, Riley Hanson, and Nate Schivelbein scored goals in the second period. Nate wrapped up the Creek scores in the third with the final goal of the contest.
