Beavercreek battled the Clay Eagles well in the championship game of the 2017 Frozen Creek tournament, but fell short losing 2-1. The Eagles got powerplay goals in the first and second periods, however, the Beavers got a powerplay goal of their own in the third. They scored on a goal from Chad Peacock, that was assisted by Braden Cox and Alex Folga. Creek pulled goalie Gram Doherty at the end of regulation for one last push, but were not able to get the biscuit in the basket. The Beavers ended up with a 2-2 record in the Frozen Creek, which earned them a 2nd place finish. Nice tournament boys! Next up for Beavercreek will be a regular season game against Alter at 10 PM on Saturday December 2nd at the Kettering Rec.
