Creek Again Goes 2-2 in Tournament

The Battling Beavercreek Varsity Beavers went 2-2 in the Springboro Shootout Tournament this past weekend Jan 9-11 at the South Metro Sports Complex with a Friday night win 7-2 vs LaSalle, a Saturday morning loss to Lakota East 0-9, a Saturday night shutout win 5-0 vs Elder, and a loss Sunday morning to Lakota East 2-5 for 4th place in the tournament.  A special thanks goes to the fans (and “The Crease” contingent!) that made it out to all the games to cheer the team on.

The Beavers play their next game on the BIG ice at Nationwide Arena this Wednesday Jan. 14 at 2:00pm vs Gahana Lincoln and then travel to Strongsville, Ohio for four games over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend Jan 17-19, followed by an away league and divisional game Friday Jan. 23 at Sports Plus in Cincinnati vs Sycamore.  Beavercreek currently stands at 11-10 on the season.

The next Beavercreek home game is at the Kettering Rec Center January 24 at 5:00pm vs Elder and promises to be a very special night for Beavercreek fans.  Stay tuned for details about the very special and fun evening that awaits.
