After losing an early morning game to Indian Hills, Beavercreek bounced back nicely Friday night and defeated Dayton Stealth 6-0 in their third game of the Miami Valley Freeze tournament at Hobart Arena. Creek pounced on Stealth early by scoring four goals in the first period. The Beavers got goals from Joey Duford, Nate Schivelbein, and Cole Gutterman got a pair. Beavercreek welcomed back Marshal Enfield and Braden Cox from injury, and Cox responded with a goal of his own in the second period. Duford got his second goal of the night in the third period to round out the scoring for the Beavers. Kevin Bovair, who was between the pipes for Beavercreek, turned away 10 shots on his way to recording his first shutout of the season. Next up for the Beavers is a battle for third place in the Miami Valley Freeze tournament against the Troy Bruins at 9:45 AM on Saturday at Hobart Arena.
