Game Video Ordering Information |
Erik Sondergelt is working on the tapes for the 07-08 season and is trying to establish electronic transfer of the games to eliminate DVD’s. However, it may be necessary to do DVD’s for one more season. There are twenty-five games total that were covered. Any game where the Creek did not score a goal will be available only as a “Coach’s cut”. It will have an intro and a closing, but no annotations during the game. This is the same way Coach Tramonte gets them. All other games will have the Coach’s cut opening and closing, plus goal annotations when the Creek scores a goal. Prices will be established as soon as it is known if the video will be transferred electronically or by DVD. At that time an order form will be posted on the web site. |

| After watching the Lake Superior State Hockey Team ring their victory bell during the preseason trip to Sault Ste Marie, Coach Tramonte remarked aloud that he would like to have an opportunity like that for the Beavers. Those words were all the inspiration that the Green family would need. Greg & Jennifer Green found an old locomotive bell outside an antique shop in Waynesville. Greg spent the holiday season cleaning and painting the bell. Meanwhile, Beaver Hockey Booster Lou Green and Greg built a wheeled stand to carry the bell. Plus, to add a unique hometown touch, they had Keith Maxwell of Maxwell's Hardware carve a wooden beaver to adorn the stand. The Mayor's Cup provided the first opportunity to unveil the 175 pound work of art & begin the new tradition. The team obliged with a 4-2 opening game win over Centerville. Mother nature obliged with great weather that allowed Beaver fans to line-up outside the locker room door to cheer the team as they took their turn with the first-ever ringing of the Creek Hockey Victory Bell. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Lou, Greg, & Jennifer Green and Keith Maxwell for their generosity and kindness. |
