Beavercreek came out with great intensity Sunday afternoon in their pre-season finale against Clay at the Ice House in Toledo. The Beavers were ready at the drop of the puck and played their best period of hockey in this young season. They slipped a bit in the second and gave up four goals to Clay, but bounced back nicely in the third period with two goals by Braden Sanders, one of which was assisted by Chad Peacock. Kevin Bovair was in the net for Beavercreek. The Beavers ended the pre-season with a 2-3 record, but are playing their best hockey right now. Come out and support Beavers Friday night at 10 PM at Kettering Rec for what will be their season opener and also their opening game of the Frozen Creek Tournament.
