Beavercreek took on Lexington today at South Metro. It turned out to be the Thomas Bush show as the Junior Alternate Captain accounted for all five goals in today’s contest to put his season total at 26. After being held scoreless last night at Hobart Arena, Thomas Bush came out firing. He put two biscuits in the basket in the first period to put Creek up 2-0. The second period started with a quick strike from Bush off the first faceoff to put the Beavers up 3-0 and secure a hat trick for the junior. Lexington got on the board with about 13 minutes remaining in the period. Bush took advantage of a Creek power play with another goal with 1050 to go in the second period. The teams went into the ice cut with the Beavers up 4-1.
Thomas Bush scored his fifth goal of the contest on another Creek power play in the third period to put the game out of reach. Junior Ben Duford and Freshman Ian Champagne shared time between the pipes in the 5-1 Creek victory.
