Creek Wins 13-1 over Mason in Second Game of Frozen Creek

Beavercreek downed the Mason Comets Saturday Morning behind hat tricks from senior captains Joe Bordas and Braden Cox.  Braden becomes the first Beaver defensemen to record a hat trick.  The remaining seven goals were sprinkled among four other Beavers. 

The first period opened with an unassisted goal from Sophomore Riley Hanson.  It was followed by two goals from Joe Bordas, one assisted from Joey Donahue and Hanson and one unassisted.  The period drew to a close with a goal from Junior Thomas Bush assisted by Sophomore Owen Huff. 

The second period saw seven Beaver goals hit the back of the net from five different players (one from Bordas, Bush, and Hanson and two each from the Cox Brothers, Braden and Carson).  Ethan Webb, Makayla Smith, Riley Hanson, Alex Elsner, and Joey Donahue assisted on those goals.

The third period opened up with a goal from Sophomore Joey Donahue off assists from Bush and Elsner.  The last goal of the game came off the stick of Braden Cox assisted from Hanson and Bush.  Freshman Ian Champagne and Ben Duford split time between the pipes in the Beaver victory.
